Owner/ Builder: Rick Smith .. I've been working on this bike for 3-4 years with most of the work done the first winter on weekends. It will probably never be done because I'm always changing and modifying things. This bike is a big change from my first bike and Trike. It all started surfing the web and stumbling on this site. I have never taken this bike out without at least one person coming up and checking out my ride. I have done all the work myself except for lacing the wheels (The Wheelmaster Auburn, Washington and the artwork on the electric box (Pin Striping by Skip Redmond, Washington) and powder coating on sidecar rim which isn't holding as good as the painted rims on the bike so we won't give them credit. Thanks to HondaChopper.com and in particular LowRiderTommy who has never steered me wrong. . Front End 1976 Goldwing lowered 2 ½ inches . Frame stock rake, cut out backbone and behind front motor mount stretched 4 inches . Wheels 18 inch rims front and rear with 450 x 18 Cheng Shin tires . Tank Fat Bob tanks . Seat Solo by owner . Rear Fender Model A tire trim ring cut down . Floor Boards By owner . Engine Stock 73 with 77 carbs with breadbox filter in photos, now pods . Headlight Model A re pop . Spotlight FLH . Sidecar 1937 Goulding bought as basket case modified frame to fit . |
