Owner/ Builder: Bill Mapp (ONCEANITE on hondachopper.com) . Bill has been around hondachopper.com for many years now and we've seen a variety of 750s come from his garage. But, this time I believe he's outdone himself beautifully. Bill started the project by putting his 750 motor in a rigid frame from Tigman. Curved single downtube that goes 6" up coupled to a backbone thats stretched 4" out, meeting at a neck thats raked to 40 degrees. Rear of frame has 4" added to the length over stock. . 8" springer by DNA with a 21" narrow glide wheel that Bill picked up from JPSwino with a 80/90x21 front tire. Springer front fender came from American Classics. Rear wheel is a stock 750 disc brake hub laced to an 18x3.5 rim by our very own Baz750 using Buchanans stainless steel spokes, using the stock Suport Sports brake system. Rear tire is a 140/90x18. DNA made the Villian style gas tank as well and Bill modified it to accept 1/4" petcocks. Then Bill did some haggling with LadyDr for the forward controls that worked out perfect up front. . Bill went to Lowridertommy for the oil tank and lines, rear fender, seat, and pretty much everything else to finish the bike. Bill had Wilmington Collision Center, local to him, apply the super deep looking Jet Black paint as well as the graphix that appears to be under a foot of clear.. Paint and grapix need to be seen in person to appreciate them totally. . To get the bike running its best Bill put in a DynaS ignition and Accell coils from Lowriders to fire off the fumes from a set of Cycle Exchange carbs with a set of MAC drag pipes to round out the package. This combination proved to get the results that Bill was after. . *GREAT JOB ONCEANITE !!! . |
