Denver's Time Capsule
Kaylynn Johnson has been collecting bikes as well as any data available on the bikes built by Denver Mullins abk in the 70s and 80s. This is one of them. A true survivor of the days of Denvers Choppers as it was in the beginning. This is just one of many that Kaylynn has in his collection. Some restored to their origins, the others are as they left Denvers shop, still gleaming after all these years. This is one of those.

I was delivering all the alum. pieces to a Mercedes 300SL roadster to a customer in Prescott Az. back in the early 90s and saw the headlight of the bike up in his loft. I asked him about it and he said, Yeah that's just an old Denver's chopper. At the time I didn't know anything about Denver or his bikes but one look at it and I had to have it. I traded the rest of the paint work on the Mercedes for the bike. The rear fender had "Berdoo Choppers"  painted over the original "Denver's Choppers". That's when Butch and Phil were running the shop. A little compound and it came off exposing Denver's Choppers. All I've done to the bike is new tires, rewired it, rebuilt the carbs. replaced the electric box and battery box covers that were missing and detailed and polished it.
